Worship Guitar –How to Worship with the Guitar

Now, I’m not talking about worshiping the guitar of course. I’m talking about worshiping God while you are playing guitar. After all, the good book says to worship God in everything you do. When you are leading worship, this is a special time to engage with your Savior. Not only that, but when you put everything you have into what you are doing, whether it being playing guitar, working your nine to five, or even having fun, I believe God smiles upon you because you are making the best of what he has given you.

Engaging with the crowd or congregation is an important aspect of leading worship also. Showing people that you are giving your all to worship draws others in to worship with you. What do you expect to happen when you just stand there with a blank look on your face playing guitar? Try not to take what I am saying the wrong way. I believe you can enter into worship even without music, but having that encouragement to enter into worship helps along the way.

Worship with every note played. Begin to feel the worship flow from your fingers. The bible says that our worship is a sweet smell to god. You have to begin to understand that God desires to feel the love from us just as we desire to feel his love. So when you are playing the guitar at any time, just love god with every note and begin to worship him with all you have in your playing.  I guarantee God will reward you for this. All in all that is what I like to call “worship guitar”.

worship Guitar (Guitar Review)-Praise and Worship or Rock

Are you ready for an honest opinion. A great review on which guitar you need for whatever genre of music you are pursuing. Well here it is. Although we will mainly focus on two genres, and since this is a Christian based blog, those two will be Christian Rock and Praise & Worship.
First off and foremost if you want to be a Praise and worship leader who plays guitar I suggest you invest in a good acoustic guitar. I also recommend that it is an acoustic electric, so you can plug straight into a PA system and not have to worry about putting a pickup in that may damage your guitar, or putting a microphone in front of it to project the sound.
My top recommendation for an acoustic electric guitar, as far as price and quality goes has to be a Breedlove. You can purchase an all natural wood Breedlove acoustic electric guitar for as little as $579.00. For the quality of a Breedlove you can't beat the price.
For all you Christian Rockers out there, you have a few options as there are a few mini genres in Rock for which different electric guitars would apply. Let me also say this, it is easier and more feasible to play a guitar that is recommended for hard guitar shredding like a Jackson in a praise and worship setting than it is to play one recommended for praise and worship like an
Epiphone Hollowbody in a hardcore rock setting, if you know what I mean. As for myself chose a different route since I play in a Christian rock band and also play electric guitar on my Church's music praise team. A great guitar I recommend for a situation like mine is an
Epiphone Nighthawk. The Nighthawk is a very versatile guitar that can be used in various genre settings, and again the quality is great for the price.
So in essence I've almost given my review in my explanation. However, I want to give you my preferences along with the electric guitars that I recommend for whatever type of music you are doing. Recommendations for genres go as fallows:

Regular Rock:
 Hardcore:
Contemporary Praise & Worship:
